Sabato sera, caldo pazzesco, tutta la famiglia a russare ma io niente da fare…

A volte un libro in questi casi tiene compagnia e concilia il sonno. Adoro leggere storie di vita e, ancora di più, addentrarmi nei miei hobbies. Leggo ogni cosa mi possa dare l’impressione di praticare le cose che mi piacciono!

Tempo fa acquistai un libro in inglese di un imprenditore di successo dove viene raccontata la sua storia e la storia del brand.

Saturday night, crazy hot, the whole family to snore but I nothing to do ...

Sometimes a book in these cases held company and induces sleep. I love reading life stories and, even more, go into my hobbies. I read everything I can give me the impression of practicing what I like!

Some time ago I bought a book in English of a successful businessman which talk about his history and the history of the brand.

Ma questo c’entra poco con quello che volevo dire in quanto quello che ha scritto il narratore lo poteva scrivere chiunque di qualsiasi settore anche se, ritengo, che chi coltiva passioni poi abbia, nella sua testa, qualcosa di più profondo da raccontare e quindi da portare avanti.

But this has little to do with what I wanted to say as to who wrote the narrator could write anyone of any sector though, I think, that those who cultivate passions then has, in his head, something deeper to tell and then to be pursued.

Vi scrivo un passo di questo libro:

I had known about – and worn – xxx boots since I was about ten years old. In fact, my father had worn xxx boots quail hunting virtually all his life, and when he was seventy years old, he decided he needed a new pair of xxx’s famous snake-proof boots for hunting quail at his place in Georgia. He knew from experience that no matter how many hunting years he had left, those boots were going to outlast him. So he got them made a half size too large so they would fit my feet, and when he died, six years later, in 1963, they became mine. I wore them for twenty years and then turned them over to my son Dave, who wore them for several more years.

Conosco - e uso - stivali xxx da quando avevo circa dieci anni . Infatti,  mio padre, aveva indossato xxx (stivali da caccia alla quaglia) praticamente tutta la sua vita . A 70 anni decise che aveva bisogno di un nuovo paio di famosi stivali a prova di serpente di xxx per la caccia alle quaglie nella sua casa in Georgia . Sapeva per esperienza che non importa quanti anni di caccia avrebbe avuto, quegli stivali sarebbero vissuti più di lui. Così li prese di una mezza taglia più grande in modo che si sarebbero adattati ai miei piedi, e quando morì, sei anni dopo, nel 1963, sono diventati miei. Li indossai per vent'anni e poi li girai a mio figlio Dave, che li ha indossati per molti anni ancora.

Questo racconto mi ha dato moltissimi spunti di riflessione considerando che chi lo ha scritto è un imprenditore che ha trasformato un azienda con un fatturato annuo pari a 500.000 dollari in un azienda di oltre 100 milioni di dollari.

This story gave me plenty of food for thought considering that who wrote it is an entrepreneur who has transformed a company with annual sales of $ 500,000 in a company of more than $ 100 million.

Mi ha colpito l’amore del padre dello scrittore verso i figli… che poi, a sua volta, ha girato alla propria prole coinvolgendoli nel sue business e nelle sue passioni…

Mi ha colpito il senso della qualità fino alla fine. Se ci pensiamo avrebbe potuto acquistare un prodotto più scadente sapendo che non avrebbe avuto moltissime uscite da fare.

Mi ha colpito il senso della “giusta spesa” nonostante, quando la cessione avvenne al figlio Dave, il narratore, fosse di fatto già ricco ma, nonostante questo, il valore dell’oggetto è rimasto altissimo pur se sicuramente usurato. Il valore delle cose ed ancor più della famiglia!!!

I was struck by the sense of "proper expense" however, when he gave boots to his son Dave, the narrator, was in fact already rich, but even so, the value of the object remained high although definitely worn. The value of things, and even more of the family !!!

La cosa che più mi fa riflettere è che ritrovo questo senso di qualità della persona sempre insieme.

Mi spiego… chi ha rispetto ed “onora ogni giorno la giornata” con la sua presenza sulla terra cercando di fare del proprio meglio (in qualità di ospite di un sistema più grande di noi) sempre darà ottimi frutti.

Un mascalzone originerà sempre e solo cose brutte con il solo scopo di arricchirsi alle spalle di chi ignaro, non è in grado di difendersi e riconoscere l’inganno!!!

Spero di aver fatto riflettere anche voi. Il Dna non si cambia e, chi è in malafede, ancor più lo sarà dopo aver letto il racconto… di sicuro il messaggio arriverà a chi è aperto di mente e di cuore.

The thing that makes me think is that I find this sense of quality of person always together.

I mean ... who has respect and "honors every day the day" with his presence on earth trying to do their best (as a guest of a larger system of us) always give you great results.

A scoundrel will create only ever bad things with the sole purpose of enriching behind those unaware, it is unable to defend himself and recognize the deception !!!

I hope I did think you too. The DNA does not change, and those who are in bad faith, will be even more after reading the story ... for sure the message will get those open mind and heart.

Oggi ho ricevuto questa bellissima foto della figlia di Mauro Duarte che, per il mondo +Watt, è la persona che rappresenta la nostra azienda in Portogallo.

Conoscendo Mauro sono certo che saprà trasmettere alla sua bambina i giusti valori basati su quella che è la qualità delle persone!!! Partendo da li non si potrà mai sbagliare...

Today I received this beautiful picture of the daughter of Mauro Duarte that, for the +Watt world, is the guy who represents our company in Portugal.

Knowing Mauro I am sure he will send his daughter the right values based on what is the quality of people!!! Starting from there you can never go wrong ...
